Growing up amiss the brutal killings of young women in Seattle, during Gary Ridgeway, The Green River Killer’s hay day, Breezy’s passion and interest in criminal defense blossomed. Starting her legal career as a paralegal Breezy had the fortune of studying under, Mark Prothero, the accomplished defense counsel for The Green River Killer. Mr. Prothero insights and passion for defense made a last impression on Breezy, driving her to The Law Office of Brian Jones.
Over her over ten years in the legal field, Breezy learned the cold hard truth of the criminal justice system, and the need for stern advocacy. Her advocacy took her across the globe, to South Africa for a clerkship with the Land Claims Court, providing restitution for victims of Apartheid.
Leaving Seattle to pursue new opportunities, Breezy found the suburbs of Franklin County welcoming. When she is not in the office fighting for her client’s rights or jetting off to discover new customs and cultures. Breezy spends her time with her husband, and two King Charles Cavalier Spaniels, Fish and Chip.
Breezy joined the firm, to be a part of a skilled, and well-respected trial team, bringing her own sense of humor, and background to the group. Breezy’s down to earth personality, and advocacy helps her relate to her clients, providing them with support and leadership in their darkest hours.
Breezy is licensed in Washington, and Ohio, and also holds a Federal Bar licensure. After graduating from the University of Washington, Breezy began her legal career as law office manager, and paralegal. Wanting more out of her career, she pursued her legal degree from Seattle University School of law. Breezy is an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Columbus Bar Association. She volunteers her time, giving back to the community, through the Columbus Bar Association’s volunteer work with Alvis House.
