Samantha is a paralegal with the Law Office of Brian Jones. She has worked with the office since June of 2020 and handles work on all of the firm’scases; from criminal to civil to family law. Samantha is responsible for overseeing delegation of all work on active cases within the office. She is an indispensable member of the team and is dedicated to providing the most seamless, efficient, and effective timeline for each case.
In 2011, Samantha graduated from Columbus State College with an associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies. She continues to build on her education and is currently enrolled at Ohio University in their Criminal Justice program. She also holds a Notary Public Commission through the State of Ohio. Other accomplishments include a paralegal membership with the Ohio State Bar Association as well as the Columbus Bar Association. Samantha is also a member of the Paralegal Association of Central Ohio.
Samantha has been working as a paralegal in various practice areas for the last 11 years. Her exposure in the field has helped her flourish in our firm, with experience in criminal defense, litigation, judgements, foreclosures, and compliance – Samantha is able to offer a unique insight into the proceedings of our cases.
In her time outside of the office, Samantha lives in Grandview Heights with her husband and their assortment of pets. She is a fanatic of sports of all kinds. At any given time you can find her at a game or sitting outside on her deck watching a game on tv. Her favorite teams are The Ohio State Buckeyes, The Cleveland Indians, The Columbus Clippers, and the Columbus Blue Jackets, incidentally her husband’s favorite teams are whichever ones Samantha is NOT cheering for, making a constant house divided. One thing they do agree on is what to do when not watching sports, they can usually be found watching live music somewhere around town. No venue is too big or too small.
